Your Gut is your Second Brain!

I have been busy with lectures in the past two weeks and realised that I have not written on my blog for quite a while! Today, I want to share with you the secret to the health of our ‘Second Brain’, our Digestive System.

Eating, Digestion, Absorption, Excretion... Repeatedly, our gut and our gut bacteria are behind this important body metabolic process, working non-stop every day!

Question: Is your body digestive metabolism functioning properly? Do you have mild symptoms of constipation or diarrhea? In fact, these are the distress signals of our gut and we must not ignore them!

Our Digestive System is our ‘Second Brain’! The key to gut health is maintaining a balance of our gut microbiome. Our gut needs good bacteria (i.e. probiotics) but actually, also the harmful bacteria. The harmful bacteria can swallow and decompose the food waste in our body, but they can also produce toxins which can cause inflammations. Probiotics produce organic acids, vitamins, and work with beneficial enzymes to reduce inflammations. We need to add in our daily diet, both probiotics and prebiotics, to make sure the good bacteria can suppress the over-population of harmful bacteria, but not completely eliminate them!

Fermented Fruit and Vegetable Enzyme Drinks are rich in probiotics, organic acids, a variety of beneficial digestive enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
